CLUB FLYING FIELD AMENITIES:
The field is surrounded by a fence and has a security gate with a combination lock. Two asphalt-paved runways are available; the North-South runway is 350 feet long and 30 feet wide. The East-West runway is 450 feet long and 40 feet wide. A covered transmitter impound board is available for safe keeping of radios. The sheltered pilot area provides protection from the sun in summer and snow and rain in the winter. For safety reasons a designated engine start up area has been provided right at the entrance of the two runways. A separate paved pit area with wooden workbenches are available to make setting up your airplane as easy as possible.
A covered barbecue facility is on location for family picnics and special club flying events.  Designated parking and camping space surrounds the flying site.   A portable toilet is also located at the field.
Prizes and Participation Rules:
Fly-In awards will be presented for 1st, 2nd,and 3rd place Pilots Choice awards and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Spectators Choice.  In order to participate the rules are simple!  Just bring any legal airplane to the FLY -IN and have it displayed throughout the day on the flight line for pilots to see and fly it whenever you feel like it.  Participating paying pilots will receive one ticket to vote during registration and are encouraged to take the time and wait for all participants to register.  Once the pilots briefing has been finalized, pilots can cast their vote any time of the day.   The spectators choice will be done during the whole day of flying, spectators can see all planes on the flight line and will be contacted by Mile Hi RC representatives and presented a ticket for one vote.  The spectators will be allowed to see the participating airplanes on the flight line during the lunch hour from approximately 12:00pm to 12:30pm, when flying will be suspended and the pilots are encouraged to display their airplane on the runway.  This is also and excellent opportunity to take some great static photographs.  This FLY -IN has generated numerous participants from clubs around the region and we encourage everyone to come out and show off their airplanes.  The rules have been kept simple and everyone is encouraged to come and enjoy our excellent flying facility.  You might even run into one of your old friends.  during the day, additional door prizes and raffles will be in abundance similar to last year.
