Club Meeting
March 30, 2010 - 7:00 PM @ Fire
Station Iliff and Havana,
2291 S. Joliet Street Aurora,
CO 80014

We have the latest and probably final $
amount for the Dare to Fly event. The event raised $5,862.00 for United
Cerebral Palsy of Colorado! Not bad considering the state of the economy and
the less than desirable weather conditions.
Congratulations and Thanks to all who made
it happen!

Relocation Area:
52860 E. Quincy Ave. Strasburg, CO 80136 This site is accessed from
E. Quincy Avenue and is about 300’ north of the road. Approximately 10
acres will need to be leased to accommodate a 500’ x 55’ runway that will
run EAST-WEST, parallel to Quincy. The model aircraft will fly to the north
of the runway, away from the road. The runway will start as a graded
ground area, and eventually be covered with a textile fabric. The intent is
to not use any permanent materials to construct the runway (asphalt or
concrete).
